Prepare and study a day before the interview. Work out on few questions that would be possible to ask by the employer. Visualize and feel the emotion of being offered the job and see yourself as a part of the organization. You can feel the change and this will increase your confidence level. few quick tips, which help you to make your first impression on your interviewer.
 
• When you first arrive for the interview you must be pumped up, confident and in a pleasant mood. Remember this is just a meeting. Prior to meeting the receptionist, check your appearance in a washroom. Check your hair, clothing and general image. Ladies use light make up and limit your jewelers.
 
• Look around the office and search for artifact that will help you to get an idea of the personality and the culture of the company.
 
• Be aware of your body language. Sit straight, with confidence.
 
• Don’t look down when the hiring manager comes out to meet you first. Greet him with a very pleasant smile and wish him. You are an equal participant in the process of interview and that impression will come across if you meet on an equal footing at the outset.
 
• Your handshake must be firm, made with a wide-open hand. Avoid fear, it can be read from your face and give a negative image. Recruiters feel that the candidate is not confident on himself. Just think the interview as a casual meeting.
 
• Don’t sit until the meeting facilitator has been seated. It’s a common courtesy.
 
• Eye contact is one of the most important ways of communication. So you must maintain proper eye contact with the person who interviews you. It shows your confidence level.
 
• Change the tone of your voice as you converse. Speak with positive attitude. Career designers speak in a self-confident manner.
 
• Listen intently to the interviewers questions and then reply accordingly.
 
A last word to remember, “First Impression is the Best Impression”.
