In 2008, the global recession left the UAE in financial ruin – just like it did to almost every major economic center in the world. Major companies were announcing downsizing and many workers were laid off. But now as 2011 is ushering in, it is very clear that Dubai is not only in recovery, but it is on the verge of take off as well. With the ushering in of new systems, new workers and HR solutions Dubai will surely be on the lookout for the most qualified human resource personnel scouting both locally and abroad.

It is no wonder that Dubai is still one of the top choices for people all over the world to live in. The city is very liveable, the benefits from work are attractive, the workplace is competitive and above all of course, the work is high paying. Expatriates still aspire to enter the city despite the competition being very high. Currently it is very clear that the recovery Dubai is experiencing will soon lead the nation back to its former glory as the major growth center in the Middle East.

As with any other recovering economy that is centered on the worker and thus HR solutions Dubai will undoubtedly require the services of competent human resource practitioners. And since it is also the peak of the information age, certain hard skills would be required such as working knowledge of business systems such as SAP together with experience and training in the respective industries if any of these workers are to aspire to enter the Dubai workplace.

Certain job websites that post openings in the middle east have indicated that job offerings in Dubai were beginning to be attractive again for human resource personnel. For middle entry positions, one can now expect to be earning an average of 8000 AED on a monthly basis. And senior level positions can feel secure with a hefty average of around 20000 AED on a monthly basis. Even by global standards, those numbers are highly competitive for HR positions.

With regards to the recent movements in the Middle East economy then and the urgent requirement of HR solutions Dubai will undoubtedly increase the number and quality of its workforce. After the aforementioned global recession, it can be said that the UAE is “clean” of any dirty forces at work in its walls and is ready to start anew. Thus, if there is any other time for a person to aspire to work in Dubai, it is now.
