If there was any testament to the negative effects of the information age, it would be the worldwide recession. Thankfully however, the global economy is beginning to recover and naturally, job security is being revived along with it. And it is for this reason that the different economic capitals in the world are still being eyed upon by professionals and job seekers all over - and the UAE is no exception. And among the cities in the UAE, Dubai definitely stands out for its economic and domestic freedom, its high rise allure and of course, the availability of high paying jobs for those who can compete in its fairly challenging job market and workplace.
Now that 2011 has just started, jobs openings are already starting to pour in. And who is responsible for all those people coming in? You guessed it – human resources personnel of course! And in compliance to the continuously being streamlined business systems all over the world, and the use of HR software Dubai seems to require a certain professional knowledge of a particular program – SAP.
Yes, SAP is required for many jobs in the UAE and countless other regions of the globe and it is seemingly not just a preference among employers any more, but is fast becoming a requirement. And so along with adequate years of experience with training and human resources, a perfect command of the English language and industry competence it seems that employers in the Middle East are now requiring this technical proficiency in order to keep up with how the rest of the world is monitoring the health of their manpower.
The question is though, if one is already competitive as an HR executive should one still learn SAP just in order to get into the Dubai workplace? Well the easy answer there is to take a long hard look at the numbers: an entry position as a professional HR practitioner easily gets one around 48000 AED a year. Now this isn’t bad at all, but imagine that if one makes it into the higher ranks? Well the senior practitioners get around 240000 as a yearly income!
The point is, learning SAP or perhaps other business systems software easily compliments one’s worth in the global HR job market and increases one’s chance to get into the coveted city. So if learning SAP is your cup of tea to gain that HR software Dubai requirement, then perhaps entering this workplace is for you.
