The Center for Creative Thinking (CCT) was established for the purpose of “identifying leadership talent in organizations, nurturing that talent, creating institutions where people find work enriching in every manner, and give of their best”. Its primary aim is “to develop leaders who leverage intellectual capital such that everyone wins – customers, employees, communities, and suppliers”.
The CCT believes that information is power if one knows how to use it and that such is the green light for success. The action that is taken as a result of the information on one’s hands is the key to success. But it would have to be the right action. The same is true whether for individuals or for companies. There are basic things, for instance, that companies must learn to do very well in order to thrive amidst changing conditions according to an IMD study. Here is an excerpt of that study zeroing in on those five imperatives:

The environment on which organizations now exist has become multicultural and direction setting for all organizations, including those yet small, is increasingly becoming global.
