EXEMPTION UAE LICENSING EXAMS
by BALLA » Thursday, 15th September 2011 03:20 pm
Hi Abraham and All
I am a Canadian Citizen and have passed all Medical Council of Canada Examinations, including MCCEE, MCCQE Part I and Part II. I have been registered in Canadian Medical Register as Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada ( LMCC ).
Presently I am working in South Africa in the Department of Family Medicine as a Senior Medical Officer since last 02 years
I have over 13 years experience as a GP in India and afterwards I immigrated to Canada.
Would you please advise me about the followings:
1-I am wondering if I would be exempted UAE Assessment Exams ( MOH, HAAD, Abu Dhabi Health Authority etc ) on the basis of my qualification...as I have seen in DHC ( Dubai Health city web site ..that Foreign trained doctors who have passed LMCC/ Plab I and II/USMLEs I, II, III are exempted/equivalent to UAE Exams
2-How do I start
3- Which ministry/ Licensing Authority would exempt assessment and issue me license
4- If I will come to UAE in person and submit my documents...How long it would take in the process of Licensing (approximately)
5- What would be approximate salary package ( Accommodation, Health Coverage etc)
Please Please advise me, as I am quite interested to live and work in UAE
Thanksssssssssssssss
Dr Balla
