I'm used to working with large numbers of employees, such as a staffing service. We used StaffSuite there and I loved it. It was easy to use, it kept great records and made payroll a breeze. When I worked with a small company of 8 employees, however, the boss was using Excel and a manual tax table to do the payroll. It was an exceedingly tedious process. What's a good payroll software for small to medium-sized businesses? What makes the software effective?

What are the options for processing payroll in the UAE? Is it done mostly in house by the employees company? Or can a company like Louisville online payroll processing company be used?
