Nicola Brown - Biography
Experience/Background
Nicola has 20 years of international business management experience focused in the manufacturing arena. Beginning her career as a chemical engineer, she progressed through marketing and sales management into communications, change management and senior HR roles. She has also gained significant M&A experience focused around the successful transition and integration of people.
Nicola has experience of running a regional business as a member of the leadership team and so takes a very practical and business focused approach to the area of HR. She has broad HR experience, from the development and implementation of HR strategy to the delivery of HR services in a multinational context. Nicola also has experience in both Europe and Asia of implementing HR shared services to drive improved HR service delivery and lower cost.
Nicola’s area of HR specialism is organizational and talent development. Her experience includes the design and implementation of effective organisation structures plus functional & leadership capability building. She also has a keen interest in coaching and mentoring; acting as a 1 on 1 coach for business leaders and delivering high performance coaching programs to management teams.
Nicola has a particular interest in employee communications having worked previously in the area of Corporate Communications. Her fields of experience include communication strategy development, design of employee communication processes and channels, communication of corporate culture & values, design of global leadership events and employee survey & feedback programs.
Nicola also has extensive experience in Change Management particularly in helping Senior Leadership teams understand the behaviours required to lead change effectively. She also has significant expertise in change management tools and processes.
