Our client is seeking a candidate for database administration position who is responsible for the overall administration and design of database infrastructure and services for a large, enterprise environment. Responsible for the management of multiple production databases, you should have a strong background in MS SQL, and have solid experience in database administration including reporting, alerts, analysis and performance tuning. Ideal candidate should have extensive experience with MS SQL server 2005 / 2008; SQL reporting; Monitoring and performance tuning; Server optimisation; Consolidation, management and implementation of a database environment; A range of database platforms and technologies (eg. Virtualisation, high-availability mechanisms etc); and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
