ABU DHABI — Despite the current global economic crisis, Abu Dhabi continues to enjoy a relatively healthy job market as revealed by around 3,000 new job opportunities on Jobs Abu Dhabi — www.jobs.abudhabi.ae — an e-government initiative by the emirate.
The job placement site, which was launched on October 19 last year, offers effective virtual job market solutions with over three million resumes available for government and private sector entities to search through as well as hundreds of vacancies for job-seekers to choose from.
“Jobs Abu Dhabi was created to address some key goals amongst which are to increase labour market efficiencies in Abu Dhabi, assist the Abu Dhabi government entities in their recruitment efforts and improve the transparency of available Abu Dhabi Government jobs and qualified candidates,” said Rashed bin Lahej Al Mansoori, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC).
