Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a law to appoint pensioners in government departments.
The law allows local authorities to appoint both military and civilian pensioners in government jobs.
The pensioners will be subjected to the laws and regulations of the human resources department applied to those employed.
The law stipulates that the appointed pensioners will receive a monthly wage equivalent to the sum total of their employment degree or military rank, according to which they were appointed, so as not to deprive them of their monthly pension.
